MELISSA PARIS

Professional Road Racer and current BTR Flat Track Participant Melissa Paris has agreed to mentor the women during every phase of the program. She will work with each participant on creating a design for their builds, building sponsorship decks, and training off and on the track.

Melissa began riding motorcycles much later than most. She learned to ride at age 20 and a year or so later she started competing in local club races. After a few years racing primarily on 125cc and 250cc machinery she made her professional debut in the 2009 Daytona 200. That same year she became the first woman to qualify for a World Supersport event.

Since then she’s had the opportunity to race in MotoAmerica, Spanish CEV championship and several 24 hour World Endurance events. In her spare time Melissa likes to train by riding motocross and flat track. She also has a two year old son who is already destined for two-wheel greatness.

THE Program

Build.Train.Race

Royal Enfield North America announced today its phase two of the BUILD TRAIN RACE program. Similar to the flat track BUILD TRAIN RACE, selected riders are handpicked by a panel of judges, the bikes are delivered & then they have 3 months to design & build before they beginning training. The culmination of all their work is seen on the track.

Professional Road Racer and mechanic Melissa Paris will mentor the women during every phase of the program. She will work with each participant on creating a design for their builds, building sponsorship decks, and training on and off track. Working with a world class racer like Melissa Paris is not an opportunity that comes along often.

THE MOTORCYCLE

the continental gt 650

England, 1960s. Young men and women flock around cafes on their stripped down motorcycles, creating a culture high on style. The Continental GT is a nod to that time. The machine with a story takes one back to the time when motorcycling was all about making a statement. Now were taking it one step further and pushing the boundaries of what a Continental GT can really do. We know you’ll want to be a part of this!
